Green Jobs Survey

Dear Business Leader,

The “Green Jobs” survey is a part of an attempt to prepare and seek resources for the Madison County area to participate in the efforts to have a more energy efficient and eco-friendly environment. There are many new resources for the training and general preparation of our workforce, and we want to make sure we try to utilize those resources to enhance our local economy and our workforce.

We are asking for your help in identifying the needs of our area. We are partnering with Madison County Planning and Development, Lewis & Clark and Southwestern Illinois Community Colleges, SIUE, and the Department of Employment Security in this endeavor. By conducting this survey we want to know whether your business currently has, or plans to have in next 5 years, any jobs which can fall into the following “Green Jobs Categories”. Your responses will be kept confidential. Please give us the resource of your time in completing this survey. We realize that you might have questions, in that case please refer to the contact information at the back of the page, and we will try to assist you.

I want to thank you in advance for your time and effort… As we realize the value for both.

David Stoecklin
Executive Director
Madison County Employment and Training Department
