A Welcome Message from the Chairman
Welcome to the Madison-Bond Workforce Investment Board's website. A qualified and well-trained workforce is a critical factor to sustained growth and competitiveness in today's economy. To ensure the development of a qualified workforce that meets the needs of employers in the area, the Madison-Bond Workforce Board collaborated with the Mid-America Workforce Board to develop a community audit / strategic action plan. This plan was to identify and address workforce related issues likely to impact the economic competitiveness and growth of southwestern Illinois in the 21 st Century. The Board has embraced the challenges resulting from the outcomes of the study and will work with the community to meet these challenges.
